gamers not buying? No more heroes a low quality game?

"Part of the reason games aren't selling is everyone is going out and buying games like Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3 and then comparing them to games like The Conduit or No More Heroes or Red Steel..and seeing the massive difference in quality of the 'motion controls' and 'pointer functionality'."
Mario galaxy is selling because is a third person adventure game with Mario.MARIO.
Metroid is not selling better than third party shooters like Word at war, given how much longer it was on the market.
Gamers are buying shooters like red steel...as fast as metroid prime 3.And Call of duty WAW sold 1 million TWICE as fast as corruption did,and scored on par with it qualitywise(maybe not according to you but according to most).
Gamers buy dont doubt that. Not sure if Muramasa as wonderful as it is, will sell in the lines of COD or RE, but i hope so.Hell , Conduit managed to sell...shooters wont usually see the struggles of games like LKS or a boy and his blob.

You're talking about the Wii pointer functionality and I gave the two games that ar praised as utilizing it the best (Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3).  Even if a couple games have sold better, it doesn't stop people from comparing them to those titles and hesitating from buying more.  Heck, the biggest complaint against the Wii from both publishers of third party titles and fans is 'third party games aren't as good as Nintendo games so they can't compete'.

Perhaps the Call of Duty games are an exception, but most of the others, especially The Conduit, most likely lost sales due to the stigma of 'not being as good as a Nintendo title'.  This claim was put specifically towards games like Red Steel, No More Heroes and Madworld.  And that's the same thing that's keeping games like Muramasa and Little King's Story from seeling (along with a lack of advertising).
