You ignore that for many the wiimote is the perfect tool for FPS´s right now, and THATS the strenght for many owners. A shooter does benefit greaty from IR controls. By your quote, you tend to think that the only thing that matters in a shooter are graphics, going as far as placing pc and HD consoles in the same group-despite HUGE control differences- AND apart from the wii. In fact you make it sound like the ony benefit of the wii ,or its strenght are...weaker graphics. But is clear you dont care about motion controls on the wii, which is the reason why the console sacrificed power in the first place. If weaker graphics was the only wii trademark, then, i dont think the system woud have had success. And muramasa , a boy and his blob and LKS would have still have happened, but for PS2.

I meant 'play to the Wiis strengths' more like 'make original titles that aren't on the other consoles'. Which clearly those titles are. And specifically in the case of Little King's Story, it did things unique to the Wii that weren't just limited to 'pointer' controls.
Yes, its true there's also a lot of other games that come out on the Wii that could be released for the other consoles like Muramasa and A Boy and His Blob. But the point is, they aren't. What you define as their only trademark being 'weaker graphics' I would define as being unique gameplay and appealing to gamers who don't just want same experiences 80-90% of the games on the 'HD' consoles have become (dark, 'edgy' games which cater to those who like games of a 'M' variety).
And yes, the motion and pointer functionality is unique to the Wii, but for a while third parties made it the ONLY selling point of their games. To the point that it was the only thing they added to make a Wii game 'unique' and frankly, it was just a gimmick. I don't think its good to say that games like Muramasa and Little King's Story are 'weak' because they don't use it. On the flip side, I'd say they were better for finally showing the Wii can do something BESIDES just trying to copy Nintendo. Part of the reason games aren't selling is everyone is going out and buying games like Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime 3 and then comparing them to games like The Conduit or No More Heroes or Red Steel..and seeing the massive difference in quality of the 'motion controls' and 'pointer functionality'.
Note: I'm not harping on The Conduit or MW. I'm just stating that these are the reasons why people most likely are mixed on buying those titles, like I am. Heck, people aren't buying Muramasa or Little King's Story either.
