I wasn't hyped for either The Conduit or Modern Warfare Reflex. Frankly, they looked like weaker versions of games on the 'HD' systems.

I get hyped for games that play to the Wiis strengths, like Muramasa, Little King's Story, A Boy and His Blob, etc. Not all of them turn out to be 'GOTY' quality, but they still are worth it. For me, if I want a shooter, I'll buy a 360/PS3 or just get it for my PC.

your logic is somewhat flawed, since you argue that you buy games that pay to the wii strenghts. And say Little kings story ,a game not using the ir pointer in the first place, muramasa that plays with classic controllers as wel, and a boy and his blob that can be also played with Dual analogs at classic controller. So what is the strenght you speak of the wii?2d games? Basically you dont consider wii motion a benefit on the wii.In fact, those games coud come and play identically on the older ps2(as muramasa was intended). Nothing against those games, but i hardly see them playing to the wii strenghts. They are near ps2 games that are on the wii because the wii is now much more popular.

You ignore that for many the wiimote is the perfect tool for FPS´s right now, and THATS the strenght for many owners. A shooter does benefit greaty from IR controls. By your quote, you tend to think that the only thing that matters in a shooter are graphics, going as far as placing pc and HD consoles in the same group-despite HUGE control differences- AND apart from the wii. In fact you make it sound like the ony benefit of the wii ,or its strenght are...weaker graphics. But is clear you dont care about motion controls on the wii, which is the reason why the console sacrificed power in the first place. If weaker graphics was the only wii trademark, then, i dont think the system woud have had success. And muramasa , a boy and his blob and LKS would have still have happened, but for PS2.
