Ultimately it comes down to the fact that the single-player is slightly worse than CoD4's and the fact that the multiplayer is broken, gimepr, shitty, and might as well not have existed. That's a pretty good reasoning to give this game a 5/10 and a 5 is praising it a bit too much even.

Lack of dedicated servers, 9v9, lack of mods, P2P, solely mathmaking. How can multiplayer get any worse than this is the question. Doom 2 almost had better multiplayer than this pile o' shit

So a game could have the best shooting mechanics and gameplay in the world but if it doesn't have features that you deem important then its a pile of shit. Good to know.

Too bad there are games out there that have better shooting mechanics and have been out for years... I dare anyone to try and defend this games shitty multiplayer.

Also they aren't just features but they affect gameplay heavily, which makes gameplay suck horribly.

For the record, Doom 2 also has some pretty good shooting mechanics. I should start comparing this game with FPSes from mid 90s just so I can give it a fair shot and not blowing chunks, and even then it would probably lose.
