I really thought when I saw the thread title that this would be about Valve badmouthing the PS3 (after the period when they weren't doing that: see my sig).
Bashing devs/games is often a way people use to bash a console, I agree. However, if the issue is a dev being bashed because of their platform bashing comments, open season. This also applies to ND saying a game couldn't be done the same way on 360: it isn't nearly as abrasive as what Valve has been saying, but I wish they'd stay above comments like that. In the same way, Turn 10 opens themselves to criticism when they open their mouths about GT.
