That is absolutely badass and awesome.
As for people going on about this thing, he did make the mod for their game, and he doesn't make money out of it, thus honoring the license. However, his mod is HIS intellectual property so he had every right to do that.
On another note, I wonder if 4chan will fuck with IW.... hopefully they do, they always make people's lives miserable.
