I do agree that getting so used to analog sticks can cause issues when first using the Wiimote. I had a lot a trouble the first time I played Metroid Prime 3, and playing the first hour of RE4 Wii, until I got used to those. Then I got 100% playthoughs on RE4, without using the rifle.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
