It is not arrogance to want a company to fully utilize the strengths of their platform. PC mod/tweak community and PC FPS server-based online communities are a major part of the inherent strength of the PC gaming. It is not arrogance to want a game to utilize those strengths, nor call it crap if a developer is so silly as to ignore them. If a dev made a console game without taking the strengths of consoles into account, people would call it crap as well and rightfully so. You call me ignorant,but it is clearer and clearer with every post that you truly do not have any mastery over the subject matter.
And as far as tryng to talk about single player, who cares? This is a discussion about MW2, on PC. Specifically about the failings of its multiplayer on PC. We also were never talking about SP, SP gamers (other than yourself) or all PC gamers everywhere who play any game on PC. I thought you would realize this from context, but to clarify - we were discussing PC FPS MULTIPLAYER GAMERS. I know that some people will say "well be specific", but honestly, spelling everything out is so tiresome. If you really liek the SP of MW, go buy. We already established that, if you want to talk further SP it should probably be in a different thread.

I didn't mean to derail the thread, and in fact, I'm not the one who started this argument.
The above poster mentioned that I derailed the thread with SP gaming discussion, but actually, I was showing how elitist it looks to openly claim that console style MP games aren't worth porting to PC because they're "crap."
Namecalling games, and elitist statements are common in this thread, and I disagree with most of them so I'm going to say it. I didn't actually want to discuss SP gaming, I clearly stated that it was an example. I don't even believe what I said, and I clearly labled it.
Anyway, get back on topic if you would like. Go sign or don't sign the petition, I don't care. However, I don't think it will have the desired results, and I certainly am a PC gamer. I have the credentials. I have 2 level 70 toons on WoW, I've beaten The Witcher, and I don't need to prove my beliefs to anyone. Just because you don't like then, doesn't mean you should flame me, but do what you feel.
