Good, so the general consensus is that this offer will generate sales, but where will they come from? Let's try to group the buyers and list them in a condescension order.

This is my suggestion:
- People who were planning to buy a 360 this week elsewhere will get it at Walmart*
- Some of those which were planning to get a 360 later will get one now
- Those on the fence about which console might be persuaded by this offer
- The offer will also have impulse buyers, who didn't come with the intention to buy a 360
- ...
- A few people see this as a way to get rich quick

*There exist odd people(one born every minute) who'd rather pay more than go to Walmart

Quick thought:
Though MS isn't behind this/these deals, Amazon and Walmart must have struck favourable deals on the Arcade shipments, or else they could have included the $100 gift certificates with all 360 models and perhaps even competing consoles.
Does this mean that the Arcade is cheap enough for similar offers in the future or could it be a test balloon from MS to see how the market would respond?
