I have two complaints about about Galaxy that are not present on Super Mario 64
- the worlds are linear, you cannot explore some planets unless you're looking for a specific star that will enable that path. on Super Mario 64 you could get any star in any order, either by choice or by accident.
- The flight mechanic is underused, I was so happy when I got the first glimpse of flying but It was really underwhelming that is not as used as in Super Mario 64.
but Galaxy is better because of one single thing: Luigi =)
