Although the PS3 really needs to a permanent stride going in America, this IS a milestone. Here's to a brighter future in this territory. Congrats Sony.

You seem to forget which country had the strongest PS1 and PS2 sales my friend. 10 million is definitely not a milestone. It's a sign that Sony just needed to drop the price.

Considering the odds against the console, which isn't a PS1 or a PS2, it IS a milestone. I hate to be a dick but let this be a place where people can be happy for the console.

Be happy for it? Sony put road bumps in their way, not consumers. If Sony makes a console, with all the great devs they've got under their power people will buy systems. That isn't a question. Odds are Sony was going to make profit within 10 years, due to the road they chose to take for their system. Microsoft has to deal with odds without putting road blocks  in front of their system, because they are an American system. Try this on for size. Sony has 10 million consoles sold in America and Microsoft still has one million in Japan. Milestone eh?

Yes, 1 million 360s in Japan was a milestone. Guess who was in there celebrating - me.

Guess who WASN'T in there saying anything bad about it, as they are in here - you.

There lies the problem, let these people have their moment. It isn't that much to ask...

This is not a milestone. This is business as usual for Sony. Which region of the world do you think is carrying their Blu Ray sales? America. Seriously man. As I said, a milestone is coming against the odds. Case in point...the odds were never against Sony.
