Why noone counts a profit, that Sony is making with Blu-ray??? And that mostly thanks to PS3.
You people understand, that those losses are mainly because of early adoption of the blu-ray?
Only because.
If PS3 would have a dvd, there wouldn`t be losses, but there also wouldn`t be so amazing games like Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, LittleBigPlanet and others. They would be different and definitely not as amazing as current released ones.
Sony decided to look ahead and add blu-ray. That cost them a lot of money, but also a winning in HD format battle.
And now, after 3 years, they are on the way of winning HD console battle.
