Did you actually read the comment? You just claimed there were 0 people who hadn't owned and HDTV back then.

Did you read the comment? He said not many people had an HD TV, when a large percentage of the population already had an HD TV in late 2006.

Not the majority

A large percentage, not the majority but a very large percentage in 2006, today I believe 70% of U.S households if not more own an HD TV.

No way is it that large.  We would be lucky to say 70% of all TV sales today are HD.  But total households owning it is another issue.
