Am I the only one who likes GTA4 more than any other GTA game?

Yeah, honestly, that's one of the things that really makes me like GTA4. I think GTTV put it something like that he's the first likeable GTA-protagonist and that you want him to win. That's exactly how I felt. I thought the characters in general in the game were great.

Compared to what made past GTA games likeable....GTA4 failed for me

but if GTA4 was called Godfather 4....I would LOVE the game....

That's just the thing, though. I didn't care about the characters either, until GTA4 made me care about them. That was pretty grand of it, I think, when I couldn't care less in the earlier games. The other games were fun for me to do like a 30-minute play session where I tried to get a 6-star wanted level or just drove through the city, but in GTA4 I actually wanted to do the missions and see the story progress. It pulled me in like GTA had never managed to do before, you know?
