*scratches head with confusion* I think I can say with certainty that less than 50% of the posters here are gay. And thus, by definition, we are a minority there.

As for why, specifically... *shrugs* I really don't care. If anything, I'd like it to point to those childish posters who think they have to use phrases like "that's gay" as an insult. A concrete listing of the gay posters here may drive that point home to some of them, however, it's never really been a big problem on this site that I've noticed. I'm sure other people would have other reasons for it also, neither they nor I are wrong.

I don't really care there is one aswell, but how did it come about?

Your mis-reading the context of the question.

Basically, so that we can identify and realize that we're not the only ones out there. Before Seece and I started the group, we honestly thought it would only have a few people in it. Then it slowly esculated to higher numbers. Also, more and more prominent members seeked us out and asked to be added to the list, so we gladly obliged. The list isn't trying to be in everybody's face. It's moreso just to let homosexuals or bisexuals know they aren't the only ones out there that are interested in video games. Contrary to what it seems like, the list isn't that large in comparison to how many heterosexuals we have on the site. Also, it lets gaymers and possible future members of the site know that there are VGChartz users who are open minded and accepting of other people.

Honestly, I'm shocked there aren't other groups out there. Maybe we should force trashleg and lolita to make a girl gamers club. :P

Does that explain why it exists?

Thanks for that answer, Axumblade.
