Some people dont need the hard drive, not everybody is a hardcore gamer who downloads lots of stuff.

 

Also you can get the 60GB HDD for $89, (so basically a pro for ~200) or you can get a used 20Gb at gamestop or ebay for $20-$50. I had only a 20GB for the first 3.5 years I owned a 360 and it's honestly fine for most stuff. I really only wanted a bigger one when MS came out with optional installs.

 

but the gift card isnt valid with gamestop or ebay. Only Walmart. Which when I looked online only carried 135 dollar HDD.
