God of War Collection is just an "enhancement" over the originals, not a remake. In this case it means that they upped the framerate to a stable 60fps, a resolution of 1280x720P and 2 or 4xAA. So, if you look at the screenshots, not the small ones of course...so click on it, than you clearly see that the "enhanced" PS3 version of GoW1 and 2 is WAY smoother, more sharp and more clear than the PS2 version.

This is the gist of it. Unlike the originals, the PS3 version will also be firmly locked at 60 FPS and from what I've seen, it seems to be v-locked as well (meaning no torn frames, though I could easily be wrong on this).

The big difference here will be when playing it on an HDTV. The new remastered version will look incredibly crisp and sharp, whereas the originals will be a blurry mess.

And now I am getting pissed that Europe isn't getting this until next year! I want it right now ;_;
