Nope. MW2 will help the 360 get back on track, then the 360 will come back steadily during the Christmas season. The PS3's sales will slow down. You're expecting a miracle if you expect the gap to 3M by the end of Jan. It's sad enough that the gap is at 6.76. The PS3 has sold very well, but where the great demand? The PS3 is at a truly affordable price now. Just like 2008, if the PS3 breaks down the lead to 5 million consoles, Microsoft will take it from there like they always do. Both systems will have amazing games coming out in 2009, but no game will be bigger than Halo Reach guaranteed. That my friend is a console seller. GT will give the PS3 a good push as well, but it wont do the numbers that Halo will.

lol you do realize MW2 is selling on the PS3 as well, whatever boost it'll give the X360 will be the same with the PS3. I don't understand how the PS3's sales will slow down, its been selling over 250K every week ever since the price cut? I highly doubt it'll be shorten to 3 million by the end of Jan but it'll be damn close, maybe 4.5 or 5 million. lol Microsoft will take it away like they 'always'  do, you mean that one time in 2008 when they got a huge price cut and the PS3 didn't lol.

Not this again, Halo Wars will save the X360, Halo ODST will save the X360, Halo Reach will save the X360, every Halo owner already owns an X360 it's not going to be a hardware seller, I predicted it'll sell a lot more then ODST but not as much as Halo 3, still amazing. The PS3 has several console sellers coming out in 2010, GoWIII, GT5, FFXIII (in Japan), MAG is looking to have poptential, The Last Guardian, possibly Heavy Rain, FFvXIII, FFXIV etc. Thats just 2010! every year the PS3 has the best games hands down. And GT5 will definitey have a bigger impact with Hardware sales, now software sales could be close I think Reach will take it on that one.

I think your just in denial.

I realize that MW2 will be selling on the PS3, but the better online experience is to be had on the 360 and PC. Most people who buy consoles for this game will be on the 360 side as well. You forget that they have a bundle coming out as a testament to the strength of MW on the 360.
