It sold the same as Vesperia 360 and better than any of the handheld Tales worldwide.  Not bad for a cheapo spinoff developed mainly by team newbies.

Well, according to VGChartz, it sold 100,000 less than Vesperia for 360 and 800,000 units less than its GC prequel.  Now I'm not going to call 350,000 units sold a 'failure', but going from a million to 350,000 units isn't a positive shift for a series...
