No your right, they are simply there as examples, teasers if you will, to intice people in and make them want to see more and goto the reviews section. But apparently no one is interested in doing that.
Your second paragraph is more interesting though, reading between the lines you are emplying that VGChartz puts more weighting on what nintendo games provide and less on the cutting edge graphics that so many game designer strive to achieve. This in itself suggests favouritism. Also you state they may put more emphasis on "fun" but how can you give "fun" a numerical score?
