i'm trying to remember what mario and sonic sold last time first day, i can't remember exactly but i remember the first day sales were horrible and people called it a bomb (i think 4k??). Then first week sales were a big improvement but still didn't look that good, (40k was it??) then legs were massive and it ended up being pretty good.
Famitsu had expected 80-110k first shipment, and the first shipment looks like 78k.
