Where did you get these figures from? Using VGChartz's hardware table, I got these figures from the week ending January 4th to the week ending October 31st, 2009:

And that's not including this week's numbers, which should bring the ps3 up to ~1,079k, and the Wii up to ~1,068k.
Did you not take into account the adjustments for these past few weeks?
