I haven't seen anything this extreme directed at Obama yet, and I also don't recall seeing much outrage about that at the time... certainly not from the people who are currently freaking out over the "hate-filled teabaggers".

Maybe it makes you feel good about yourself to look at the looniest example of "the other side", because then you just know they have to be wrong. I dunno, but it's a really poor way to go about things, IMO.

So, you quote a random blog and say Obama hasn't gotten anything as bad? So, I guess the Secret Service assigned to him when he was a candidate was standard operating procedure too? That was the first time in history something like that has happened that early in the process.

As you said, you don't have to go far to see this foolishness. In Houston, 10,000 tea baggers were protesting. Plus, we had several thousand fools protest here a couple times.

They are just looking like immature brats, seriously. If it's so sad, they can use their constitutional rights and exit the country, stage left.

What I do know is that the anti-Obama signs people have had fits over are so much tamer than the vileness directed at Bush in the link above that I'm forced to conclude that, if it were out there, we'd have seen it trotted out to try and discredit anybody who thinks that this massively corrupt, criminally incompetent government might not be cut out to reform health care in any meaningful way.

But given your penchant for displays of extreme racial paranoia (LEFT 4 DEAD 2 IS RACIST!!1111111111) and your tearful fangirl attachment to Obama, I reckon it's an exercise in futility to discuss this any further. So, later.

And just because I voted for Obama doesn't make me a fanboy-fangirl. Where did I say 'Oh, I love Obama so much!' Because I based Bush for being an idiot?

You should get out more and realize just because someone bashes another person doesn't automatically put them in the other person's camp.

Has Obama made mistakes? Yeah. Is he perfect or the Messiah? No. However, he was handed a glorified mess and for him to make some kind of progress is a task in itself.
