My girlfriend has decided she wants Wii Fit (She doesn't know there are two, I'd probably want Plus). There's just one problem. She's a recovering Anorexic. She's made a lot of strides and she wants to make many more, but Wii Fit poses some problems. The biggest one being that, well, it uses a giant scale. And she hasn't weighed herself in years.

So what I need to know is how heavily the weight aspect is featured and displayed. She's fine with BMI and the whole Wii Fit age. So is it just a question of turning around and not looking at the screen at the beginning of a session? She said she'd be fine just turning around (and volume down I guess).

Again, she's taken her disorder head on over the years and is in such a better place than she used to be. She wants to get Wii fit partly because it looks fun, partly because it looks like a good way to stay fit, and partly because she doesn't want a stupid eating disorder to stop her from being able to buy a simple videogame.

She's just worried about getting weighed acting as a trigger.

So... How weighty is it?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
