The song can be much more moving or stale based on what it's played along with. Meaning of Birth isn't all that special, but it during the last boss is pretty awesome.

I agree with this, but often you can tell whether you like the song or not just from listening to it.

I'm not talking about liking or not liking, but rather rating it or giving it a score.
