I intended it of course. I love Mario games and will still love them for their quality, either everybody says its childish or does not offer enough features.
Remember: a good game does not have to get TONS of features. Mario 64 was an excellent game because it was based on platform.
Mario is the true platformer. None of the games will be able to beat him. Even Little Big Planet.
