Does NetFix even broadcast in ordinary 720p? As a European I do not know, but I do know that for fast streaming over most Internet connections will mean heavy comprimises, artifacts. Sure a 4GB(I'm guessing this number) MPEG4/WMV compressed 720p video looks better than a 480p MPEG2 compressed video, but the jump to Blu-Ray is quite something else.
However this is a moot point, where Blu-Ray really will be needed is when 3D films hit the home cinemas. :D
