I wouldn't say they are failing with digital downloads, but they have missed some opportunities to make it a more popular service. I think Demos are a good addition, but like he says may not be enough to entice people to sign into the shop channel that never do. I really think the service just needs more promotion. I think the space at the top of the Wii Chanel screen should be ad space for developers, for people with their Wii connected to the internet, which would show off some downloadable games to the people who never go to the shop channel. I also think if there were occasional promotions, like discounted prices on certain titles that would help. Also obviously having a few tv/print ads featuring some of the best or most popular titles would help.
