Thing is, we haven't really seen any cool games using it (same goes for Sony's wands) so I don't think huge amounts of people will run out the instant it launches to get it. I also somewhat doubt the long term appeal of these things, looks kinda fun but hardly essential to me.
I know both motion techs are still barely past prototypes but there's no reason as of yet to be properly excited imo, too little too late is the best I can think of to describe their (MS and Sony's) motion sensing concepts.
