Seems pretty successful to me. Sales in the hundreds of thousands for enhanced rereleases. I'd say if they sell 10% what the orginals did it's a success.

Nintendo would be stupid to release Pikmin as a trilogy without having Pikmin 3 available as a standalone for at least a year beforehand. A lot more money in that.
