@steroid

you have a point

but that coud result in a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE thing

it may mean ALL Japanese devs will make wii games & port them to PS3....so PS3 owners will have to deal with sub-par graphics

I don't know. For example SMG is a good looking game but I'm always wishing it was in HD cuz it's a little fuzzy.

I'm confident that (espesially after the PS3mote is released) that a LOT of Japanese devs will start porting Wii games to PS3. The No more hero's guy talked about it Capcom has talked about it and it could be a good option for people who want to play Wii games in 720P or even 1080P.

In fact I'd be willing to bet that it's harder to port PC/360 games to PS3 then it would be to port a Wii game.

That was a misunderstanding. He meant NMH2 would be the last NMH on Wii but NMH3 would be on the "Wii 2" or whatever.

Also, did you notice that a lot of major Wii games from JP don't even use motion controls? MH3, Tales of Graces, Samurai Warriors 3, etc. DQ X won't use motion controls either since it's a turn based game. So I don't see why motion controls for the PS3 would make JP devs port games to the PS3 if they're not even using motion controls on the Wii...

I remember Soriku saying this once a month or so back, and I agree, monster hunter 3, tales of graces ect don't use much motion control.

Nintendo's been making a bit of a play for the "core gamer" market in Japan this year.  Hence the CC Pro bundles and emphasis we've seen with Monster Hunter 3 and upcoming games like Sengoku Musou 3, Tales of Graces and WE Playmaker 2010.
