I know what you mean. The "monster" graphics are great, but the character and environment graphics are just ok. Gameplay looks like it could become repetitive and borring as well. Kind of like a beat em up game, except your foes take forever to kill. If the RPG elements are strong enough, it could well be worth the oney though.
