So I submitted my first news story today and managed to screw it up. 
My error was that I didn't understand that there were separate "summary" and "body" entries in a news post, because it doesn't ask for a body until you've submitted the title and summary. Plus, once it asked for the body, I didn't realize that it had already inserted the story into the DB. If the body field can go on the same page as posting the story, posting news would be a lot more intuitive. And n00bs like myself would be less likely to screw up and double-post news.
