I have been on LIVE for 5 years. Gold member - and will hit 6 years next year. I enjoy it more now than when I got it with my original Xbox.
That said, Netflix on the PS3 is not an end-all. Even the Netflix chief said the disc was a workaround until they figure out something that doesn't use Silverlight. No, thanks. While I did order the PS3 disc to play around with Netflix, I would rather have Netflix on a console without major kinks.
I will keep paying for LIVE until I get tired of it. And I only pay $30 a year - barely $3 a month. That's a trip to Starbucks, a burger at Steak and Shake or a gallon of Premium.
