IYO, what are the worst things this gen has brought to the table?

Worst? Easy- a demand for graphics. They can make a great game even better, but when all they do is dress up a crappy game, then they don't do a damn thing for my enjoyment of it. And reviewers have eaten that up this gen- sell a game by its graphics. Put up a few pretty pics and a trailer, and watch suckers gobble it up.
