1. Excessive DLC and announcing DLC before the game is even out. Devs have started a habit of leaving things out purposely to sell them separately as DLC. That is just wrong, i refuse to buy that shit.

2. Motion controls. Come on, I was doing just fine with my standard controller. I don't need to add waggle to make games fun. Just a personal preference thing.

3. Casual games. Some of them are good but 95% of them are just shovelware.

4. Too much reliance on game reviews. I hear way too often that "oh that game only got a 79 on metacritic, it's no good." While reviews are great its just their opinion of the game, it doesn't mean the game is good or bad. I despised Mass Effect, doesn't mean it's bad. In fact I didn't like MGS4.

5. Too many SKU's (different models of consoles). Lets take a tally. The PS3 had the 60 and 20 gig initially, then they brought in the 40gb with no BC and the 80gb which did have BC, then I think they had a 160gb console also with no BC (that might have been a limited time offer). And I'm sure I've forgotten some others along the way. Then they discontinue all previous ones when the slim was announced. Oh and guess what now theres a 250gb slim as well as the 120gb. The 360 is no better (elite, arcade, pro/premium, core), but this post is getting too long already. The Wii is the only one that got it right. 1 SKU since the beginning.
