Uncharted 2 will be celebrating Halloween this weekend in style. If you log on you will have to download the latest update. It contains some general updates, which I’ll come to in a moment, but for this weekend you will be able to earn double cash whilst enjoying some multi-player action. This starts from Friday 30th October at 6pm and will last until Monday 2nd November 6pm. Joining you on this weekend will be some of the Naughty Dog staff. Apparently you can tell if you are facing them as they will have a red paw (the Naughty Dog logo) next to their PSN ID. But what’s halloween without some scary stuff? Well, that’s been catered for too. Make sure you keep an eye out for these fellas:

Alongside the spooky treats, you’ll also find some neat tricks:

Addressed respawn points when the artifact goes out of bounds in the Plunder gametype

Dynamically adjust the win condition for fewer players during the course of a match

Added features to deter players from voluntarily leaving during a match

Added rate limit to “When a Chapter is Completed” Twitter event

Fixed a display issue during letterboxing

Fixed Danish Trophy description

Fixed screenshot utility in standard definition resolutions

Fixed the “Players Met” list not displaying recent players

Addressed a variety of Multiplayer connectivity issues

What are you waiting for? Get out there and kill some dead people!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
