Let me ask... how many times it has happened that there its a good/great game for the Wii that nobody knows its comming?. That happens even more in my country, because we never get promotion budget, cause the market is still small.
I help the games that are good in some simple yet usefull way. If someone in the store its going to buy Wii Party Game XYZ or Minigame collection 123, I told them to get at least a GOOD party game.
If a friend doesn't know what games are in the market, I told them about the games that suits their tastes, and I always include some third party options.
I sold 3 extra copies of the conduit, so my friends could play a decent FPS for the Wii (its hard to own more than 1 console), only 1 didn't like it.
