^Actually yeah Monster Hunter was a failure on Wii compared to the PSP versions.

No all that other stuff is crap, if the marker considers a game good, then it will sell, if not then it won't, the highest selling 2D mario's were on consoles, so the idea that NSMB Wii can't outsell the DS version due to demographics and suitability is stupid, if it doesn't outsell the DS version, then it'll be because the market didn't consider it as good at the DS version

It's not about failure because of a bad transition to console to handheld or vice versa.
You were generalizing the decline of the whole franchise because an iteration didn't perform aswell on a different platform.
And you were using that assumption as evidence as to why the PS3 version wont sell.

Here's another analogy.
GT psp didn't do aswell as the older GT's.
Does that mean that the franchise is in decline?
Not necessarily.
Does it mean the console GT version will not create a hardware bump or beat GT4 sales?
Seems unlikely considering how much people are anticipating it's release.

As you can see, it's an illogical fallacy to assume that it's an "end all" indicator of future sales or a decline in the franchise in general.

Now I'm not saying that Tekken 6 will sell boat loads considering into account the lack of hype for the game, but I doubt PSP sales for one iteration of the game is a good base to build upon for your argument.

Ah, but i'm not ust using the PSP version, the PSP version is part of a trend, Tekken 5 sold less than 4 and Dark sold less than 5, now might 6 sell more, sure, but if not, it'll just show that there is a downward trend

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!!
