Everyone has to also consider that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was projected to have worldwide lifetime sales in the 600,000 range; if Japan takes out a 100,000+ chunk in week one (with lifetime sales over 300,000 units) this makes it pretty obvious that the game will sell far beyond expectations.
