I remember reading interviews with Factor5 in which they said they were dissapointed with Nintendo for not producing a more powerful system. They had already begun work on their next graphics engine and yes I would call it abandonment. Factor5 went ahead and wanted to make something beautiful and to create something state of the art, so they developed Lair. Of course this pretty much bankrupted them. The idea that Factor5 had staff to pay and stuff and that is why they made Lair instead of making something on Wii is ludacris. We all know that in order to profit on the PS3 you have to sell very well.
Factor5 made a choice, the wrong choice but a choice none the less. I can understand after the epic fail that was L.A.I.R that maybe Nintendo and LucasArts are/were reluctant to give them another chance!
