What do they expect when most of their releases have been sequals to games already released this gen.  Another Excite game, another Wii Sports, another Wii Fit, and another Mario Galaxy 2 coming and all the while some IPs are sitting in wait for a Wii version still.

They failed to reach projections because they haven't released any new core games. Casual games can only get you so far.

Next year they're going to bring in the heat though finally.


No, they failed to meet projections, because of the lack of expanded market stuff, core stuff doesn't maintain momentum, but when Wii Music failed, they didn't have anything for the expanded market to go and recover the slack, and they haven't progressed the Wiimote/Motion plus or the balance board either for more expanded market reach
