Being really awesome isn't an agenda. It's a lifestyle choice. I mentioned it was a spin off and the smaller userbase but three people have mentioned it back to me now, do you read my posts?
Do you read your own posts? If you had we probably wouldn't have been subjected to 4 pages of your nonsense. Just to point out spin-offs and remakes can outsell the original games:
Those aren't spinoffs or remakes, they're ports. You don't even have a point. You should probably apply your sig to yourself and stop trolling the thread.
I'm not sure if it's possible to troll a troll thread. |
Again no sales numbers just opinions. Monster Hunter started on the PS2 where it did not do so good then on PSP it did great. As for Hot Shots, the game did great early on in the PSP's life and neither of the games are ports.
Monster Hunter games are not ports and both have many additional features and one is a remake of another game on the PSP, even if they were ports it proves my point even more if a simple port sells better than an original version then it indicates that spin-offs and remakes can do the same or better.
Once again, Monster Hunter Freedom is based on a mix of Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter G, it mixes elements from both and adds its own elements. If you do not consider it a spin-off (which it is) then it is a remake not a port.
Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is based on Monster Hunter Two and is not a port, by the way port/remale/spin-off no matter what you call them they both sold better than the direct sequel on the Wii.
Freedom Unite is a remake of Freedom 2 with added parts.
You haven't played the games I'm guessing or looked them up because they have what the console games had and more improvements and additions.
The Hot Shots Golf game is a portable spin-off if you might think it's a port because the differences between games are in small steps, but it is a game that was made for the PSP with features from previous games and new extras, features, unlocking characters and 8 player multiplayer. That doesn't sound like a port with that many features added.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
