I agree with the article and am keeping my fingers crossed for a more hardcore friendly Super Wii to be announced in 2010.
Also, I feel very strongly that many of these longtime Nintendo fans that argue with one all day on message boards that Wii Sports and Wii Fit are the best games in history or that Wii should continue exactly as it is now for virtually forever are only doing so because they have been willing to embrace anything good or bad for gaming that would put Nintendo back on top after the last two console generations.
I agree with the statement made by a Play Magazine USA editor that just because we will most likely have to thank Nintendo for keeping gaming alive 10 years from now, it doesn't mean we have to love everything they are doing today.
