Lets just wait for the next NPD if theres boost of hardware sales on pricecut and not because of holiday months sales. But in the article they cut their operating forecast which means Nintendo could hold off shipment numbers too. Like I say 400,000-500,000 isnt enough especially in holiday months. The October NPD 2008 chart sell Wiis in 800,000 I know especially with the pricecut that Nintendo could easily surpassed the sales of 400,000-500,000 Wiis a month. Are they? I had to admit even with the pricecut and everything if the Wiis are selling only 400,000-500,000 in October of this year I will be depressed. You should be depressed too...
If you dont want to see Nintendo in a way of SEGA and they just developing handheld consoles then pray that the pricecut will work for them, and Wiis are selling only because of holiday months. Just remember, the Wii sells 467,000 in month of September without the price cut. If the Wii sell for that number in October even witht he pricecut then the pricecut didnt work.
