DQS sold 600k opposed to almost 5 million for DQ VIII on PS2 and over 4 million so far for DQ IX on DS and that is still selling.
Yeah it's a spin off and on a smaller user base but that is a huge sales difference. The remakes of DQ V IV sold 3 times as much as the DQS and those were remakes of old games.
DQ Monsters: Joker sold sold over 3 times as much as DQS and that was a spin off too.
