I was talking about area, which includes length. You do not need big speakers like the DS/DSL/DSI original have. You can use a more durable material for casing that allows for it to be thinner. You can get rid of the empty edges. Yes it will be bigger, but the size of a small laptop is exaggerating.
If people can hold things like this for much more daily use,
a DSi isn't that bad.
That is just one example of a large phone.
