Seriously though, not a big deal. I believe there were several review sources gave gave Mario Kart Wii 7s and low 8s and yet it remains my favorite Wii game alongside Smash Bros. There is absolutely nothing that can deter me from buying this game, Mario is my all time favorite series.

Plus many big Wii games that receive low review scores tend to do phenomenal in sales for some odd reason (Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, Game Party, Carnival Games, etc..) so maybe this is a good sign for NSMB Wii.

WSR, MKWii and Wii Fit all have metascores in the 80s. =


And all got lower than 8's from edge (except Wii fit, which was never reviewed)
