Edge gave mario kart wii 6/10, so this is not very suprising. I'm not trying to say EDGEs opinion about this game is wrong, but they have really lost touch with the wii gamers. Mario kart wii has sold about 18 million worldwide, and many gamers on these boards has said that it is their favourite wii game.
NSMBwii will probably end up with a score in the low 80s, just like mario kart wii. Some reviews will give it quite high scores because of the incredible fun and value it has. Others will only see it as a DS port because the gameplay is very identical to the previous iterations.
