actually it was nintendo that didnt want to move to cd's and backed out when sony had the ps1 almost developed. sony was ready to go because after developing the sound chip for the snes they had some sort of partnership but nintendo went with phillips instead which sony tried to sue for the breach of contract, yes nintendo broke the contract. then sony tried to bury the project but Norio Ohga let katarugi finish the project when they were starting to decline.

as for the quality seal was there it was nice to know the games didnt suck, im just saying the wii has seen more shovelware than any console ever has which sucks. i have a wii and dust it off every now and then but rarely.
